The Old Guildhall Grist Mill

The Old Guildhall Grist Mill

A Worthwhile Side Trip

Located on Granby Road (just off Route 102) in Guildhall, Vermont, the Old Guildhall Grist Mill was an impromptu side trip I took during a mid-October foliage drive through the White Mountains. As you can see, the idyllic New England setting is the perfect backdrop to the mill’s classic features. At the right time of day (typically early morning when the sun is low and the harsh light of midday is still a few hours away), the mill’s colorful pond reflection makes for a memorable image.

While New England fall foliage is always a draw for visitors, the Old Guildhall Grist Mill is worth seeing year round. It is important to note that the mill is located on Private Property. When visiting, please respect the fence marking the property line boundary. Note: While there is no designated parking area for the mill, you may park along the edge of Granby Road provided you do not block the two-way traffic.
