The Friendship of Salem heads out to sea

Visitors Welcome!

The Friendship of Salem is a reconstruction of a 171-foot three-masted Salem East Indiaman built in 1797. This replica is the largest wooden, Coast Guard certified, sailing vessel to be built in New England in more than a century.

Part of the National Park Service’s larger exhibit area at Salem Maritime National Historic Site, the Friendship of Salem is fully operational and open year round, weather permitting, for tours. For more information regarding hours of operation and a list of all current tours, schedules and programs, please click here.

Four Corners of New England Gallery

If visiting the Friendship of Salem, usually docked at Derby Wharf in Salem, MA, make sure to stop in and browse the Four Corners of New England Gallery which is just around the corner on Pickering Wharf. I’m proud to say that some of my work is on display there.

Note: Mention the phrase “Liz Mackney Friendship” and receive 10% off of any Liz Mackney Photography item in the gallery through September 30th.
