“Happy” Thanksgiving!

Holiday Humor

With Thanksgiving knocking upon our collective doors, I elected for a bit of humor for this week’s New England “Single Shot Showcase.”

As you can see by my feathered friend’s evil eye, not everyone is a big fan of Thanksgiving. I didn’t take his intense look personally though as I can totally appreciate how he must feel at this time of year. After all, I don’t believe he was the turkey to receive this year’s Presidential Pardon.

His expression, however, did give me a great photo-op. For that I am indeed thankful.

Not everyone eats turkey on Thanksgiving. Holiday menus certainly differ across the country. Family traditions are woven into our own personal history. They are a part of what makes us who we are today.

We’ve all heard the expression, “Diversity is the spice of life.” Well, my featured friend here insists that also applies to Thanksgiving dinner. No turkey required! (I suspect he’s a little biased though.)

Best Wishes

Wherever you go and whatever your main course may be this year, I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving.
