Sunset at Annisquam Lighthouse

Sunrise to Sunset

It’s no secret that Annisquam Lighthouse in Gloucester, Massachusetts, is one of my favorite coastal landmarks to photograph. From sunrise to sunset the natural elements — ocean, clouds, tide, light — all work to together to present an ever-changing scene this photographer loves to capture.

Colorful Beauty

On this evening, the setting sun cast a beautiful peach hue across both the sky and water as the day came to an end. Even the lighthouse door reflected a bit of the color. The serenity of the moment spoke for itself. Sometimes a bit of solitary calmness bathed in warm light is just what the soul needs.

If that concept works for you, remember Annisquam Lighthouse the next time you’re visiting Cape Ann. It’s always worth a visit.
