The barn at Sleepy Hollow Farm

On a little country road in South Pomfret, Vermont, is a picturesque gated property known as Sleepy Hollow Farm. Once owned by Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, Sleepy Hollow Farm features everything a New England photographer could ever want.

A sloping hillside… a reflective pond… a rolling backdrop of fall foliage… and of course, a perfect rustic barn. The long, winding driveway – gated and equipped with a security camera – guides the eye to the rich beauty of this property. On this rainy day, the lush green grass was all the color I needed to showcase the barn’s idyllic setting.

Although I can’t claim this as fact, I can imagine the barn being the scene of some great, late night jam sessions. Take a good look at the photo; then close your eyes. Hear the music?
